Welcome to Fay Elementary
Fay Elementary, named after Dr. Fay, a long-time advocate for education in San Diego, has been part of the City Heights community for many years. In 2008, our school was rebuilt to provide bright, modern classrooms and learning spaces where students can grow, explore, and succeed.
We are proud to serve a diverse community of families who bring many languages and cultures to our campus. As a Community School, we partner with families and local organizations to connect students to resources, learning opportunities, and programs that support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Fay Elementary is also home to a Spanish–English Dual Language Program, where students learn in both languages every day. This program helps all children become bilingual and biliterate while developing a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
At Fay, we believe that by working together—students, families, staff, and community—we create a welcoming environment where every child feels seen, supported, and ready to succeed.
